· Custom Millwork ·
Built by hand,
on site.
The difference between a fine home and a finished one lives in the joinery. Psalms frames and finishes its millwork on the job: the floating stair, the parquet, the cabinetry, the stone. Every line is tailored to the house rather than ordered to fit.
· The craft ·
Where the detail lives.
- Stair joinery
- The floating staircase. A floating stair carries its own weight with quiet engineering and exposed joinery. It is the first thing a guest sees and the hardest detail to get right.
- Cabinetry
- Bespoke, framed on site. Cabinetry is built to the plan, not bought to approximate it. Proportion, storage, and reveal are decided room by room, for every home we build.
- Libraries & studies
- Wood-paneled libraries and studies. Full-height paneling, fitted shelving, and door casings turn a study into a retreat, the kind of room that reads as built, not furnished.
- Flooring
- Custom flooring, laid on site. From classic herringbone and patterned parquet to wide-plank hardwood and stone tile, flooring is selected and laid to suit the home and the rooms it runs through.
- Stone detailing
- Walls, surrounds, and thresholds. Stone is detailed where the hand and eye meet it, corridor walls, fireplace surrounds, and the transitions between spaces.
- On-site framing
- On-site custom framing and cabinetry. Framing and cabinetry are completed by the Psalms team on site, keeping the standard consistent from rough carpentry through final finish.
